$13 Adult ticket buys a 30 minute tour of the place Hemingway called home for about 10 years. No reservations needed. Museum is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key West Art & Historical Society Museums. Buy a ticket for one, or a combination to see all three special museums. See website for rates.

Historical society operates three really well curated museums in historic buildings;

Custom House, 281 Front St, Key West, Fl 33040. Phone: 305-295-6616. Offers a number of rooms dedicated to local history and artists, including Hemingway.

Fort East Martello, 3501 S. Roosevelt Blvd, Key West, FL 33040. Phone 305-296-3913. An old brick and mortar fort that served in several eras, it houses a wide variety of artifacts - from hearses to metal mobiles!

Key West Light, 938 Whitehead St, Key West, Fl 33040. Phone: 305-294-0012. Built 1846 and is now available for public viewing. Keepers quarters have been turned into a nice museum.

High speed ferry to Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson. Adult passage is $120. Also provides reef dive excursions and Dolphin adventures. Transit time each way is two hours.
