Located west of Mobile, this has been a premiere destination for over 65 years. It doesn't matter what season, something is always blooming.  The 10,000 square foot mansion was built by the local Coca-Cola bottling plant in 1935. 

Check their website for hours. Adult admission to gardens is $13, and $21 for combined mansion/gardens visit.

Battleship Memorial Park is an excellent tour stopover and great group ride destination. Anyone interested in military history will enjoy the battleship tour and chance to board a WW II submarine, USS Drum. The roads in the area are tame, but interesting - you should plan for this trip. $15 Adult admission, $13 for geezers.
