KS - Abilene (K-15) - Seelye Mansion

25 Room mansion shows just how financially strong the patent medicine business became when it moved from the traveling wagon show to the corner storefront. Dr. and Mrs. A. B. Seelye built this house in 1905 and the tours show you what 'style' was on the prairie in the early 20th century.

The style stills rings true today, especially in the outdoor gardens. A really nice place to stop, stretch, and relax a bit. $10 Adult ticket includes access to the mansion tour, gardens, and patent medicine museum.
