This park is located at the very edge of Bardstown, so it's convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, retail shops, and many tourist attractions. An 18 Hole golf course wraps around the campground, so you might want to plan to play a round. There is a nearby Federal Hill mansion tours for additional fee. The tent area is only yards from the front gate security post, so you won't have to worry much about being bothered. On weekends the traffic on the nearby road can be noisy, even at night.
