Along US-89

Once a true border to border highway, US-89 runs 848 miles from Flagstaff, Arizona, to Yellowstone National Park and picks up again for another 404 miles to the Canadian border near Babb, Montana.

US-89 is sometimes called the National Park Highway, as it connects riders to seven national parks and offshoot roads run to another 11 national parks. That that that the road runs along the spine of the Rocky Mountains doesn't have anything to do with the popularity of this route... or does it?
