US-141, a 168 mile long spur of US-41, begins just below Green Bay and makes a bee line toward Norway, Michigan as it parallels US-41 to the west. It then diverges northwesterly until meeting back with US-41 just north of Covington, Michigan. With the exception of the views of Lake Michigan in the Green Bay area, the spur route is just as pleasant as the parent and carries about the same amount of traffic. Both are fairly typical north woods routes. Be careful of deer and bear crossing the road, especially in early morning and at dusk.
