A pleasant area just one block outside of the village center American Legion Post 72 Veterans Memorial,
Aberdeen, Moore County

This appears to be a recently erected memorial area, next to the local American Legion Hall. It shows a nice inscription and bronze seals of the five uniformed military services.

Another, slightly older marker was placed at the front of the hall in 1987 by the Legion and the Aberdeen Board of Commissioners.
