Lee County is a rural area, sparsely populated. It's a place where sons can follow their fathers footsteps with pride and admiration. It's a place where loss is recognized for what it is, a sacrifice made by families. There are three monuments commemorating four wars; The War of The Rebellion, the Great War, World War II, and VietNam.
